Wishing Well Poems/Bird Cage Poems | Voucher Poems | Honeymoon Poems

1 - Wishing Well Poem
Soon you will hear our wedding bell,
As friends and family wish us well.
Our household thoughts are not brand new,
We have twice the things we need for two.
Since we have our share of dishes and bedding,
We're having instead a wishing well wedding.
But more important we ask of you,
your prayers of love and blessings too!
2 - Wishing Well Poem

Many of our guests have enquired
For a gift idea to be inspired
Like many young couples today
We have most things anyway
If you would like to give, it is our request
For something for our treasure chest
A gift of money you can afford
Is just what we need you can be assured
Without the help of this little pun
Our honeymoon would not be much fun

3 - Wishing Well Poem

To save you looking, shopping or buying.
Here is an idea, we hope you like trying.

Come to our wedding, to wish us both well.
And bring this small sack, to throw in our wishing well.
Fill it with paper all colours will do,
gold is our favourite but silver will do.

Now that we have saved you, all of that fuss.
We hope you will come, and celebrate with us.

4 - Birdcage Poem
Like birds who build their homes with care,
we have every little stick and chair.

Our nestled home of love is great,
but we do plan to have an update!

A birdcage will be at our reception for our guests
who would like to add funds to help our nest!

But most importantly we do request,
is that you join us as our wedding guest!

5 - Wishing Well Poem

We don’t want to offend but we have it all,
all household goods and so much more.
To save you shopping, sit back and rest,
a gift of currency is our request.
Don’t go overboard or rob any banks,
any little thing will make us smile with thanks.
We supply the wishing well,
no wrapping, an envelope and who can tell.
Now that we have saved you all the fuss,
it would be appreciated if you would come
and celebrate with us.

6 - Wishing Well Poem

More than just kisses so far we've shared
Our home has been made with love and care
Most things we need we’ve already got
Like a toaster and kettle, pans and pots

A wishing well we thought would be great
(but only if you wish to participate)
A gift of money is placed in the well
Then make a wish … but do not tell

Once we’ve replaced the old with the new
We can look back and say it was thanks to you!

And in return for your kindness we’re sure
that one day soon you'll get what you wished for!

7 - Wishing Well Poem

They have their dishes and towels for two
They have pots and pans and oven mitts too
So what do you get for the Bride & Groom
Whose house is set up in every room?

Their house needs repairs and some upgrades too
But you can not register for carpet and glue.
A well that holds wishes is the way to go
So lets make it easy for all that know.

An envelope will be provided for those who have room,
To give a monetary wish to the Bride and Groom
A wishing well will be on display at the reception hall
To attach your wishes, for the couple, with love from all.

8 - Wishing Well Poem
We've been together a few years now;
We have pots and pans and linen and towels;
We have glasses and toasters, really quite a few;

So instead of more gifts, we suggest this to you;
If it doesn't offend and it won't send you running;
What we would really appreciate is quite simply money;
We know choosing gifts can be such a pain;
and this way there is no chance of bringing the same.

9 - Wishing Well Poem

We really would appreciate a little money of our own,
instead of a little gift for our new home!"
We know you want to find something nice
But it's such a hassle to find the right price
So come and enjoy the day all sunny
We really would appreciate a little money.

10 - Wishing Well Poem

If you were thinking of giving a gift,
to help us on our way.
A gift of cash towards our house,
would really make our day.
However, if you prefer to purchase a gift,
feel free to surprise us in your own way.

11 - Wishing Well Poem
Our home is quite complete now,
We've been together long.
So please consider our request,
And do not take us wrong.
A delicate request it is,
We hope you understand.
Please play along, as it will give
Our married life a hand.

The tradition of the wishing well,
Is one that's known by all.
Go to the well, toss in a coin
And as the coin does fall.
Make a wish upon that coin,
And careful as you do.
Cause as the well's tradition goes,
Your wishes will come true.

So on this special day or ours,
The day that we'll be wed.
Don't hunt for special gifts
But give money is it's stead.
And as you drop the envelope,
With money great and small,
Remember, make your wish
As you watch your money fall

12 - Wishing Well Poem

Rules and Regulations
The first you must come
and if you’re to be our guest
You must eat and drink a lot,
or do your very best!

The second ones an order
so don't bring two left feet
As when the evening comes around
you must dance to the beat!

The third rule can be broken
we really do not mind
But if you choose to follow it,
Thank you for being so kind

We’ve lived together for a while now,
and are set up well for life
We do love receiving presents
but can save some shopping strife;

The tradition of the wishing well
used on a wedding day,
will be available both for some money gifts,
and for what you would like to say.

But the choice is really up to you
and we would like to say
That we just hope you come and enjoy yourselves,
and share our special day!

1 - VOUCHER POEMS

TO KEEP LIFE SIMPLE WE HAVE ORGANISED
A GIFT REGISTRY AT MYER
REF: #000000
www.myer.com.au

A PERSONALISED GIFT FROM THE HEART
WOULD ALSO BE WELCOME

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING
IS THAT YOU WILL BE WITH US TO SHARE
THIS VERY SPECIAL OCCASION

2 - VOUCHER POEMS

Your presence at our celebration
is all that we ask,
but if you wish to bring a gift
and are stuck for ideas
a voucher from (insert store)
would be put to good use!

Bride & Groom's names

3 - VOUCHER POEMS

To save you looking, shopping and buying,
Here's an idea we hope you'll like trying,
As we have all the little things we require,
Some vouchers for bigger things is what we desire,
But, most importantly, we request,
that you turn up as our wedding guest!

Vouchers from (insert store) or a contribution to our
(insert store) registry
would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

1 - HONEYMOON POEMS

Our two families have come together as one.
We really hope you can come and join the fun.
A honeymoon fund we thought would be great,
but only if you wish to participate.

We have a special honeymoon account,
where you can make a contribution to help
us make our honeymoon a memory that will
last a lifetime.

ACCOUNT DETAILS

2 - HONEYMOON POEMS

We've collected most things over the years
from household appliances, to linen and holiday souvenirs

With everyone travelling from afar
it may be hard to fit a present in the car

Our wish is only to see you on the day
celebrating in your own special way

But if you still wish to give a gift
we'd love you giving our honeymoon fund
a little lift

Place your gift in an envelope
and wish for all your dreams and hopes

3 - HONEYMOON POEMS

We're on our way to ?
for a romantic honeymoon,
A holiday for us to share that
hasn't come too soon.
So if you're thinking of a gift
and are not sure what to get,
A gift of cash would help us most
to get us on that jet.
But most of all we'd love you there
on our special date,
To share with us our happiness
and help us celebrate
